After nearly 30 years in the industry (Hey, I started early!) I'm finally doing an art book at Dark Horse Comics with editor Scott Allie and assistant editor Katii O'Brian. There will be a lot of never-before published art here, from sketches, to finished illustrations, rarely seen color concepts and a long form interview conducted by Word Balloon Podcast master John  Siuntres @johnwordballoon covering the origins of my art, life and career. We have a forward written by Brian Bendis and afterword by David Mack.

Not too spoilery on this one- Superman is on the cover of issue 7, dream sequences and psychedelic layouts are what this book is made of, so who can say what is happening here? You'll have to buy the issue:)

This is basically how I do my layouts. I draw a light layout in pencil- very light. Then I lightly erase the pencils and tighten it up. After that I make a defined outline with ballpoint pen.
