After nearly 30 years in the industry (Hey, I started early!) I'm finally doing an art book at Dark Horse Comics with editor Scott Allie and assistant editor Katii O'Brian. There will be a lot of never-before published art here, from sketches, to finished illustrations, rarely seen color concepts and a long form interview conducted by Word Balloon Podcast master John  Siuntres @johnwordballoon covering the origins of my art, life and career. We have a forward written by Brian Bendis and afterword by David Mack.

Not too spoilery on this one- Superman is on the cover of issue 7, dream sequences and psychedelic layouts are what this book is made of, so who can say what is happening here? You'll have to buy the issue:)

This is basically how I do my layouts. I draw a light layout in pencil- very light. Then I lightly erase the pencils and tighten it up. After that I make a defined outline with ballpoint pen. Those are basically my pencils from which I print out as a non-repro blue (after doing a bit of photoshop touch ups) and...

October and November are going to be big months for me- While I started Cave Carson earlier this year, Aleister & Adolf also come out this month, a graphic novel I drew last year in black and white. It is written by Douglas Rushkoff and it is about the evil and the evil men do... and spies! I got my comps in today, as well as Cave Carson which comes out October 19th.

Later this month, my Attack On Titan story also comes out and I'll be doing a signing at  Powell’s on
